Orange Pole

December 18, 2009 - Just starting to make plays. Only a few gentle rains so far; no runoff

January 24, 2010 - Raining for a week. Moderate runoff though much of it is flowing around the head of the gully. You can see one of my divergences upslope just beyond the white pole, leading runoff from right to left around the head of the gully.

April 17, 2010 - Slopes at maximum green. Damp seepage still coming in on right side.

February 6, 2011 - One has to watch out for year to year variability due to weather patterns but it seems to me that upslope there is significantly more dry vegetation from 2010 than there had been in 2009. Also seems like more green developing along the bare gully; part of that is algae.
