Twin Drainage Play - 2nd View

Feb.21, 2009 - When I first recognized the possibility of this play in October, I looked over the ground and thought I would be lucky if I could lead the diversion to the left side of the manzanita bush in the background. But I've learned to wait until runoff can guide my trowel and in the rain on Feb. 15, I was amazed how the water led my diversion on such a high, level course that I came out on the right side of that manzanita bush.

March 2, 2009 - Moderate rain. Runoff flowing towards top of ridge beyond.
