California Dept. of Ed. Content Standards Links to a PDF document for each subject.  These contain detailed information about what is taught at each grade level.  

California Dept. of Ed. Reading Lists Allows you to generate lists by grade level, genre, classification and awards.  You can also search by author or title.  Gives a brief description ("annotation") for each book.
