It is exciting to be part of a school dedicated to giving its students a continuing love of learning, a respect and appreciation for our natural environment, and a dedication to the academic, social and emotional growth of each and every student!  As a small school family, I love that we are able to foster our students’ unique qualities.

After spending 20 years as a classroom teacher, school counselor and administrator, I retired to enjoy my home in North Carolina.  When life gave me the gift of 4 grandchildren (and one more on the way, I’ve just been told!), I returned to California to enjoy them-and just couldn’t stay out of the classroom!  This year I am fortunate to be able to work with your children in an interesting variety of positions.  I will continue working to support student learning in the classroom as both an aide and as a teacher.  This year I will also be able to provide our school with comprehensive school counseling services. offering academic, social and interpersonal support to individual students and small groups. Indeed, Chrysalis is interested in your child’s success in all areas, and I am delighted to be a part of such a dedicated team of educators and families!
